A Community Event to commemorate and celebrate loved ones injured and lost on January 8th. We will come together on January 7th to remember what happened, acknowledge how it changed us and commit to building a stronger community. Join us for our healthy, fun, safe, and inclusive outdoor events. Engage in activities that are good for your mind, body and spirit! Come walk, run, ride, stroll, dance at Anamax Park.
After the ceremony, come join us for “organized recess” for people of all ages, Tai Chi, tumbling, yoga, dance, an “in the park” hike, children’s face painting and a host of other fun, fitness, educational and artistic activities. Visit the Sensory & Imagination Playgrounds.
The Pima County Public Library Bookmobile will be at the event. Librarians and volunteers will be reading special stories.
Participants and volunteers are asked to bring non-perishable food to support the Amado and Sahuarita Food Banks.
