Get your bodies moving this New Year and join us at St. Philips Plaza for Together We Move – Dance Fitness Fest!
Fun activities are planned for every age group, interest and fitness level. Dance your heart out at the main stage with a four-hour Dance Fest — that includes:
10 AM: Jazzercise (with Jazzercise Tucson Central Fitness Center)
Jazzercise is the original dance party workout. Blending dance with Pilates, yoga, kickboxing and strength training, one 55-minute session can burn up to 800 calories. The results? Long, lean muscles and an undeniable mood boost.
10:40 AM: Pilates
Pilates is a total body, equipment free workout that works your core like nothing else. Pilates builds strength and flexibility and can be done anywhere.
11:20 AM: Meet Let’s Beat:
Beyond presents Meet Let’s Beat with Richard Noel as he showcases the power of community drumming into an exciting and interactive showcase. Jam2Grow is a unique and exciting art based interactive program that utilizes a powerful blend of inspirational modalities for personal and professional reconciliation. Let me hear you say WOW!
12 PM: Undisputed AZ Boxing
A unique full body workout that is fun, energizing and makes you fit and feeling positive.
12:40 PM: Zumba
Join Estella, Lucy and the girls for a high-energy, dynamic Zumba workout. Based on Latin and international dance moves, Zumba feels more like a fitness party, celebrating your spirt and soul as you move to the beat and burn those calories!
1:20 PM: Hula Hoop Fitness
Join Lucy, Estella and the girls for a throw-back fitness experience with a hula hoop! It’s great for burning calories and body fat, while also improving your balance. Strengthen your core muscles by spinning with us!
Also available is a Community Resource Fair for more information on how to stay active and live a healthy lifestyle. There will be tables hosted by Natural Grocers, Boys to Men, Pedego, ElliptiGO, CPR and others. Plus, explore the St Philip’s Plaza Farmers Market hosted by FoodInRoot.
