BEYOND is the inaugural event of the Tucson Trails Tribute Fund, a fund organized by the family of Gabe Zimmerman and a broad coalition of community groups to promote the health and well-being of the community. The goal is to commemorate the anniversary of January 8th with a health-focused, community-focused BEYOND event on the first Saturday of each new year.
In addition to BEYOND, the Tucson Trails Tribute Fund will sponsor other activities and programs throughout the year that help the community get active and enjoy our natural world, as well as promote stewardship of our extraordinary natural resources across Southern Arizona. BEYOND and these other events and programs will promote the physical and mental health of the members of our community — a positive response to a horrific event.
