January 11, 2020 @ 8:00 am - 11:00 am

Join your physicians and others looking to improve their health at a monthly Walk With A Doc in Tucson by Rillito River Park at Swan Bridge parking lot, south bank. Walk covers a one or two mile course on level ground. Sign-In at the Ramada, east of Swan Bridge on the south bank.

What better way to start your weekend than on your feet making strides to help your heart and improving your general health to live longer!

While you walk at your own pace, you’ll have the opportunity to have questions answered by local physicians.

At each walk you’ll receive FREE heart-healthy snack, wonderful conversations and walking (with a Doc)! And new participants will receive a free t-shirt!

Dr. Leila Ali-Akbarian, a family practitioner with the Integrative Medicine Department at Banner University of Arizona Medical Center will be featured.  She concentrates on treating chronic diseases and preventing cancer. She won the 2006 Phillip Dew Award for excellence in primary care.
