Join Youth Ambassadors for SW Culture Internship program and Ironwood Tree Experience’s Youth Action Corps as they interpret Tucson’s new Chuk-son Trail!
The Chuk-son Trail is an interpretive urban trail that leads along Tucson’s fascinating avenues, arroyos, and alleyways. The trail highlights human history, ecology, and the economies of the past and present, and what makes our place, in the Sonoran Desert, so special.
WHEN: Sunday, April 30. You can start any time between 7 a.m. through 9 a.m. The program concludes at 11a.m.
Join us for a special recognition of the youth interpreters afterwards at the ITE, Urban Field Station – SW corner of 6th Street and 6th Ave. at 11:30 a.m.
WHERE: Start your walk at Ironwood Tree Experience, Urban Field Station – SW corner of 6th Street and 6th Ave.
Bring a reusable water bottle (water stations provided for refills). Wear sun protection: hat, sunglasses, light clothing, sunscreen. Bicyclists also welcome.
